How England triumphantly won the U17 World cup

England have now won two major youth trophies in 2017 after the U20s won the World Cup in South Korea in the summer.

The Young Lions actually found themselves 2-0 down in the first half but roared back with goals from Rhian Brewster, Morgan Gibbs-White, Marc Guehi and a brace from player of the tournament, Phil Foden.

Brewster's goal was his eighth of the tournament, earning the Liverpool youngster the golden boot, while Manchester City's Phil Foden was named player of the tournament after a series of sensational displays that have no doubt caught the attention of Pep Guardiola, who has sung the 17 year old's praises several times over the last few months.

Between the triumphant U20s and U17s, English football could be set for a very, very bright future. But will these youngsters be given the opportunities they need by their clubs?
