Chicharito to make a shock move back to EPL

The Mexican striker finally makes a return to the Premier League, after having left Manchester United for the Bundesliga outfit back in 2015. The 29-year-old has ample experience of English football under his belt, having previously scored 59 goals in 157 appearances for the Red Devils.

The deadly poacher also enjoyed a good spell in Germany, as he bagged 39 goals in 76 games for Leverkusen. However, he has now decided to return to the Premier League and join West Ham, after the club reportedly activated the £13million release clause in his contract.
The Hammers released an official statement on their website, which read: “West Ham United and Bayer Leverkusen have agreed terms for the transfer of Javier Hernandez to London Stadium.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker will fly to London in the coming days to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical with the Hammers. Hernandez, 29, affectionately known as ‘Chicharito’ across the globe, became Mexico’s all-time leading goalscorer in May this year.”
It remains to be seen how the Red Devils’ supporters react to the player’s return to England, given the fact that Hernandez, also known as ‘Chicharito’, was an absolute fan favourite at the Old Trafford outfit.
