Ac Milan completes Bonucci Sensational move

AC Milan have completed the sensational transfer of Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus, pending a medical.  The Rossoneri announced the Italian's signing on Friday.

Per the announcement, he'll sign a five-year deal. The medical evaluations are expected to take several days. Juventus announced the fee is €42 milion.Earlier in the day, Milan released the following clip of Bonucci arriving to complete his transfer: Bonucci, who spent his youth career with Inter Milan but made just seven senior appearances for them, spent seven years at Juventus after joining them from Bari in 2010, making 319 appearances.

He played a key role in the Bianconeri winning six successive Serie A titles and established himself as arguably the best centre-back in the world along the way. Bonucci excels at regaining possession for his side without having to go to ground, while his reading of the game allows him to snuff out danger often before it happens.

According to Squawka, in 29 Serie A matches last season he won 21 tackles and 38 headed duels, as well as making 60 interceptions, 13 blocks and 101 clearances. The most notable facet of Bonucci's game is his ability on the ball, and he's at his best when striding out from the back with it at his feet and looking for a pass.

Leonardo Bonucci has completed more long-balls (1,022) since 2012/13 than any other player in Serie A. This allows him to start attacking and counter-attacking moves, so not only should his capture make Milan more solid at the back, they might also feel a benefit further forward, too. The 30-year-old is an intelligent and experienced figure at the back, but despite his age, he still has several more years at the top left in him.

He'll undoubtedly prove an outstanding buy for the Rossoneri, and his capture is a real statement of intent that the club aim to return to the top of Italian game and become a force in Europe once more.
