Ronald koeman facing the axe as everton loses to bunrley

Everton fell to yet another defeat yesterday afternoon, as they lost 1-0 to Burnley at Goodison Park, Heading into this season, many fancied Everton to cause the big teams trouble and compete for a Champions League berth. Their summer spending was certainly sizeable, but they haven’t compensated for the loss of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

The Toffees have endured a tough start to the season, shipping heavy defeats to Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United. Currently languishing in 16th position in the Premier League and bottom of their group in the Europa League, they are struggling.

yesterday's defeat, at the hands of the Clarets, piles more pressure on Ronald Koeman, as the team is not delivering results nor performances. Certain sectors of the fans have had enough, and are calling for a change of management. Sections of Everton's support have lost patience with Ronald Koeman after the Toffees crashed to their fourth league defeat of the season against Burnley.

Jeff Hendrick's first-half goal was enough to condemn Koeman's side to defeat at Goodison Park and fans were quick to voice their frustration following the game. Burnley shut out Everton with relative ease and reduced the Toffees to many pot-shots from distance  none of which threatened Nick Pope's goal.
