Moreno Handed First team Boost

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given out-of-favour left-back Alberto Moreno hope of a future at the club, praising his commitment to the club.

The Reds defeated the Bundesliga champions 3-0 in the Audi Cup on Tuesday, with the Spaniard impressing despite making just two Premier League starts last season.

It was a really good game from Alberto, that's why we kept him on, because every second he was playing better, he was more present, Klopp added
.
He's really fit but he's had a little problem with his thigh since the day before yesterday. But we had a test with him this morning and he really played well.

The 25-year-old joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2014, and featured regularly in his first two campaigns in England, but made just 10 Premier League appearances last season and could be given more playing time this season.
