Everton set to complete £32million deal for Gylfi Sigurdsson This Summer

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is close to capturing Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson Koeman’s coffers will be swelled by the £75million departure of Romelu Lukaku, Sigurdsson’s arrival would increase the pressure on midfielder Ross Barkley Barkley is yet to commit his future to the club with a contract offer on the table.
Everton are expected to take their spending over the £100million mark this week by completing a move for Swansea City’s Icelandic playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson.

With Ronald Koeman’s coffers swelled by the £75million departure of Romelu Lukaku, he will go back in with a fourth bid for 27-year-old Sigurdsson, who is also wanted by a couple of other Premier League clubs but favours a move to Goodison Park. Swansea have remained resolute in their determination to keep Sigurdsson but a new offer of £32million from Everton coupled with Sigurdsson’s wish to have a fresh challenge after three years in south Wales means a deal is likely to take place. Swansea playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson is expected to join Everton this week for £32million said Toffees manager Ronald Koeman.

Everton have been the stand-out spenders in the current transfer window with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, Ajax captain Davy Klaassen and England defender Michael Keane all arriving for big fees totalling £70million and Wayne Rooney returning to his hometown club.
Striker Sandro Ramirez has also signed from Malaga for £5.2million with youngsters Nathangelo Markelo, Josh Bowler and Henry Onyekuru also arriving.
