Chelsea makes move for Aubameyang

Antonio Conte’s side have been linked with a number of strikers this transfer window as Diego Costa looks set to exit Stamford Bridge.


A move for Romelu Lukaku fell apart after the Belgium striker went to Manchester United instead. And now their top options for a fresh attacker seems to be Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid and Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund.
Desailly, who represented Chelsea between 1998 and 2004, thinks the latter is clearly the best choice for Conte this summer. As Chelsea search for a new striker, Desailly thinks his former club could certainly do worse than to bring back Costa, who led the Blues’ scoring charts last season.
