Tottenham dealt further injury blow with Danny Rose a major doubt for FA Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea

Danny Rose is a major doubt for Tottenham's FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea next month.
The England defender suffered a medial knee ligament injury against Sunderland on January 31 and has still not returned to full training.Rose is continuing his rehabilitation by training away from the main group and the defender faces an uphill battle to be fit in time for the Wembley clash against Chelsea on April 22.
Rose visited a specialist on Thursday as the club seek to get to the bottom of the issue and resolve the problem. Pochettino remains hopeful he will return before the end of the season.
The Argentine is more upbeat over Harry Kane's recovery. The striker returned to training on grass this week and is ahead of schedule. Spurs are reluctant to state a timeframe but there is hope he will be able to play a part against Chelsea in three weeks time.
'Harry is doing well,' Pochettino said. 'He is very positive and he will be available before the end of the season. It is very positive and we believe that he can be available. I think it is will not be too long
Pochettino also responded to speculation linking Eric Dier with a summer move to Manchester United by reminding the player of the progress he has made under his guidance.
Pochettino said: 'We signed him as a player with potential. We provide all the tools to be a Premier League player playing well. That first season, he played like a full back, like a centre back but never as a midfielder. In that summer, we were looking for a midfielder but I decided to play him in midfield. I created a system that he felt comfortable in.
'Then we signed (Victor) Wanyama and played both, but we had some injuries and Eric was the perfect player to play as a centre back. It is good he plays in different positions and does well in every one.'
Meanwhile, Pochettino insists he will never manage Barcelona because he 'loves' the club's city rivals Espanyol. Pochettino has been linked to the Catalans after Luis Enrique announced he would leave the club at the end of the season. The Spurs boss was then spotted talking to Josep Maria Bartomeu, the Barcelona president, at a restaurant in the Spanish city during the international break.
However, Pochettino insists the meeting was pure coincidence and that his devotion to Espanyol, bitter rivals of Barca, means he could never manage the club.
The Argentine said: 'It was true that there was a coincidence in a bar in Barcelona last Tuesday. I knew him (Bartomeu) for a long time before he was chairman at Barcelona, about 15 years. Many people say hello and you spend five minutes together. We talked about other things. That's the reality.
'I'm an Espanyol supporter. In the same way, if Daniel Levy sacks me in a few years and I'm free, it would be impossible to manage Arsenal. In football, it's hard to keep loyal with your heart and emotion but I believe that before being a manager or a player, you should be loyal. I love Espanyol.'
