44-year-old keeper saves penalty from Traore to put Egypt into AFCON final

The Legendary Essam El-Hadary is the Africa Cup of Nations’ oldest ever player. Its most successful ever player. And now he is going to yet another final thanks to penalty heroics. The 44-year-old twice guessed correctly, denying first opposite number Kouakou Koffi, and then Bertrand Traore - up to that point, two of Burkina Faso’s best players. It was enough to get the Pharoahs through. As ever the big moments, in the big games, bring out the best in the big men. El-Hadary was one such man, as were the two who scored in normal time.
